NOWNESS Short Film Talent Awards 2021

NOWNESS Short Film Talent Awards 2021 aims to discover outstanding new generation Chinese filmmakers, inspire their creative enthusiasm, and showcase their video works. Since 2019, the NOWNESS Short Film Talent Awards has been successfully held for two editions, discovering a group of young video creators with ideas, creativity and talent, and producing a series of short films with the zeitgeist of the era.

From 8 to 12 December, the third NOWNESS Genius Project will be presented to the public at TANK Shanghai, showcasing 15 film works by Le Yi, Qidi, Qin Junjie, Li Yue, Wang Wei, Wang Zhiheng, Xiang Tiange, Xu Xinyue, Yi Lie, Yuan Yuan, Zhang Xuyu, Zhou Xing, Zhuo Lan, Ma Weijia and so on, as well as video works by three Chinese artists Cheng Ran, Tang Chao, and Xia Shanshan in "NOWNESS Experiments Art Video Exhibition."

With the development of technology and changes in media, images are also growing at a geometric rate. In an era of explosion of images and information, what should we watch and how will we watch it?
